FLORA BELLA - BEAUTIFUL COUTURE FLOWER CROWNS

We're thrilled to have Flora Bella joining us for the first time this year.  From the moment we saw her website we were in love!

With over 10 years' experience in the flower industry as Dinah Taylor Floral Design, Dinah wanted to develop her skills and passion for floral crowns and accessories, so started her new adventure, Flora Bella - creating everlasting beautiful floral crowns using only the finest silk flowers, feathers and vintage accessories.

Every floral crown is unique, beautifully Bohemian and incredibly feminine.  From pretty and delicate to dramatic and luxurious, the options are endless.  Dinah can create a bespoke crown to compliment your personality, especially for your wedding day, and they're ideal for your flower girls and bridesmaids too!  You can even buy from her on-line shop to make things incredibly simple!

Flora Bella can host flower crown parties - perfect for a hen party or any fun celebration!.  You can design your own, luxurious flower crown using silk flowers, feathers and vintage accessories and have a perfect handmade crown to keep forever. The price includes all materials, flowers and accessories, along with refreshments and homemade cake!

We're all very excited to see what Dinah brings with her on Sunday.  I can see there'll be a few trips to try on her beautiful things during the course of the day!

CLIFTON PAVILION

The beautiful and historic Clifton Pavilion is set in the award-winning botanical gardens of Bristol Zoo, making it one of the most unique wedding venues in Bristol, if not the whole south-west.

With its high vaulted ceiling, art deco features, grand ballroom and stunning chandeliers, it really does offer a breathtaking backdrop for your wedding day.

Our exhibitors love this venue as the rooms are beautifully proportioned, the light is wonderful and it's the perfect venue to show off what they do.

The Clifton Pavilion has a licence to perform wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships so you can hold your ceremony here as well as celebrate afterwards.

EILY O'CONNELL - CREATING TREASURES OF WEARABLE ART

We're very excited to welcome Eily O'Connell to this year's wedding fair.  Eily creates treasures of wearable art that have a mysterious and other worldly presence.
If you're looking for a unique piece of jewellery to celebrate your love, Eily's work is perfect for you. Not only that, but our ecological impact is very important to Eily and she sources sustainable material wherever possible including recycled metals and fair-trade gems.  Even all her boxing and marketing materials are recycled.

All Eily's work is crafted sourcing the finest materials in her studio, where visitors are welcome by appointment, and she loves to make you commissioned pieces, whatever your budget.  All her prices reflect this very small-scale local production made from cradle to cradle by the hands of the designer maker.

Eily's starting point is foraging around the beaches, forests and other areas of natural interest to find materials that she can combine and cast into gold and silver to make beautifully detailed jewellery with gemstone and enamel accents.
Growing up in the countryside of the fishing village of Killybegs on the North West coast of Ireland, sea themes are evident throughout her work.
There are constant references to human manipulation of nature as Eily is concerned with our ecological impact and so tries to highlight important issues through pieces and collections.
Eily's work ranges from very clean, simple lines thru incredibly intricate, delicate shapes to glorious statement pieces, but her passion for nature is reflected in every piece.
Eily loves every aspect of her work but she particularly loves crafting something bespoke in her unique style, just for you.  With an avid eye for the unusual and textured, Eily has created some extraordinary pieces for her bona fide clients, from designing engagement and wedding bands, reviving and re-melting heirlooms to simply casing a small silver pendant from an acorn found in a special garden!

No project is too big or too small and Eily loves the challenge of engaging your senses through a bespoke piece of jewellery which will be made to last with the finest materials, creating our very own heirloom piece.
Personal meetings can be made near her Bristol studio but get in touch if you live further afield as Eily travels a lot and may be able to meet up with you to discuss the evolution of your idea to concept.  Alternatively this process can easily be done via email.  Many of her special commissions have been made remotely for people around the globe whom she has never met!

Take a look at Eily's portfolio page to give you a flavour of the wide range of her creativity and imagination.

Whether you want a totally unique modern piece or something recycled from a heritage piece of jewellery all Eily's pieces are made with great love and care for the environment.

MCGILL SISTERS - BEAUTIFUL, UNIQUE WEDDING FILMS

As the name suggests, this company consists of two sisters, Sinead & Siobhan, who are based in Bristol. They make beautiful and unique wedding films to capture couples and their  loved ones on their wedding day. I love this quote from the sisters about their work style;

'We are there to catch everything from the champagne in the morning to the hilarious dancing in the evening, with laughs, hugs and tears in between! We LOVE couples who are unique, adventurous, and crazy about each other. And if you're up for a bit of hiking for an amazing backdrop,or doing something fun for the perfect shot, even better! '

They film in a very natural, unobtrusive manner and using small film cameras. The McGill sisters aim to blend in with your guests, chat to your family and friends, and then you can truly let your hair down, and forget that they're  even there! No one wants a camera in their face during the day and they are experts in capturing the relaxed and spontaneous moments of the day.

Once filming is over, they take special care selecting these moments, synching them with sound and editing them together to make your unique story of the day. I love how honest they are in saying that they spend lots of hours doing this, and don't like to rush! Using ambient sounds, music and accompanying vows and speeches, it results in a beautiful and heartfelt film that will bring the memories flooding back!

Have a look at one of their highlights videos with lots more weddings on their website. We are really excited that they will be capturing the day at the fair too for us!

THE WEDDING REPORTER - CREATING A LITERARY LEGACY OF YOUR DAY!

I have been slightly obsessed with The Wedding Reporter for several years. Brought up on romantic black and white films, I've always felt that those perfect moments in your life should somehow be recorded, so I love photography and video but The Wedding Reporter captures every important part of your day in the most magical medium of words!

Imagine the book of YOU and your big day! I'll let Franky, The Wedding Reporter herself, explain: "The Wedding Reporter is a truly bespoke service turning beautiful weddings into literary gold dust to savour as a unique keepsake.  The report can be as flexible as you like, covering just certain elements of your wedding or a blow-by-blow description of the whole day!"

Initially observing from the sidelines, as the day progresses The Wedding Reporter gets to know your guests and family and will build up a picture of who you are as well as capturing moments from your day that you may only glimpse - creating a lasting memory for you to keep forever.

Just reading their testimonials makes me teary and I think, if you love words and are a romantic, this unique business is something you really can't miss.  I'm already talking to my husband about our 20th wedding anniversary and how important it is to have these memories in writing and just imagining our 50th anniversary and reading all about it all over again!

Come and meet Franky and find out just how wonderful memories of your day will be!
