FABULOUS VINTAGE PHOTO WALL - FOR SALE!

Over the last year my friend Siobhan (who owns Queenie the Cocktail Caravan) and I have had great fun hiring out our fabulous photo wall and chaise but sadly, as I have now sold Bristol Vintage to Zoe, and as Queenie is now spending most of her time at festivals, we are no longer able to run the photo wall.

The wall comes with a chaise and has 3 'picture frames' so you can have groups of people in the picture or just the happy couple!

It comes in 4 pieces which slot together, along with 2 side posts to hold it up and some hats, moustaches and various other props.

It takes about 15 minutes for 2 people to erect and less time to take down.  It's great fun for weddings, parties and any events and is a great talking point and extra fun for our guests.

The photo wall will be on display at the fair and we can deliver to any buyer free of charge within a 20 mile radius.  The asking price is £250.

The price includes all materials, flowers and accessories, along with refreshments and homemade cake!

We're all very excited to see what Dinah brings with her on Sunday.  I can see there'll be a few trips to try on her beautiful things during the course of the day!

BATH CAKE COMPANY - AWARD WINNING CAKES FOR ALL OCCASIONS

We love letting you know about all our fantastic exhibitors and our first for 2017 is no exception. 

Founded by Celia Adams, Bath Cake Company will work with you to create your dream wedding cake and you can meet with the team by appointment to discuss your ideas and taste their delicious cakes at no extra charge.

Not only that but if you fancy being a bit creative yourself they hold cake decorating classes in their very own decorating studio and they have a Sugarcraft Shop open to students of these classes exclusively.

Their creative team love hosting yummy cake decorating parties for children, adults and hen parties - how much fun would that be!?

They even have an on-line shop with a fantastic choice of cake decorating products including gifts for cake lovers as well as tools, equipment and pretty cake decorations for all occasions.

FLO-JO BOUTIQUE - HEN PARTY FUN WITH A CREATIVE TWIST!

Why not book the perfect Hen Party where you’ll learn how to make a pair of knickers and a garter for the bride?  If there’s material left over, you can make bunting and add all the buttons, bows and vintage embellishments you like. Designing, sewing  and making all things vintage-inspired since 2004, owners Delia and Erika of Flo-Jo Boutique on Gloucester Road host brilliantly fun knicker-making and sewing parties. They search high and low for their retro-inspired prints and find inspiration in vintage lace and silks, which they ‘upcycle’. 

At Flo-Jo you'll find collections of handmade undies, knicker-making kits and frilly pines for sale.  They also run a haberdashery with carefully sourced fabrics, but the other half of the shop is a fabulous retro style 50's kitchen-inspired workshop space, filled with sewing machines.  This is where the fun happens with regular workshops on embellishing, quilting, patchwork and dressmaking, alongside high tea, cake and a glass of champagne.  Hens have a great time bonding over their making experience and it's something that mums will enjoy too. Flo-Jo cater for all ages and sewing experience, from total novices to fashion designers. 

The knicker-making workshops are a very popular hen party choice. Over 3 hours you'll make a pair of knickers and contribute to the making of a garter for the bride-to-be using a selection of new and vintage lace and trims, retro-style prints, buttons and bows.

MAISON DU MACARON - PERFECT WEDDING FAVOURS!

I'm always researching new and different exhibitors for the fair so I was very excited when Louise from Maison du Macaron contacted me.

In case you haven't come across them before, Macarons are a French sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond power and filled with ganache or butter cream and, in my humble opinion, are nigh on the perfect sweet treat!

Maison du Macaron are a small local family run business who specialise in these divine treats for weddings, parties and events.

Offering individual macarons, macaron towers and wedding favours, these little bits of perfection are available in a selection of flavours including raspberry, lemon, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, pistachio, orange and even salted caramel!

The origin of the Macaron isn't clear but according to some sources Catherine de Medici may have brought the recipe from France to Italy as early as 1533 but it was in the early 1900's that they became famous after being introduced in their current form by the famous Parisienne bakery and cafe, Laduree.

We are fortunate enough to have our very own Bristol company, Maison du Macaron creating these gorgeous melt-in-the-mouth treats and you will be able to see a selection and learn more about them at the Fair!
