RUTH GARNER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

We are so happy Ruth is joining us as an exhibitor for this fair after being our official photographer earlier this year.

Although not exhibiting at the last fair (as she had just become a new mummy to Elena), Ruth took photos of our exhibitors, their stands, the musicians, models and the general buzz of the day!  We loved how she managed to capture the fun of the day in such a relaxed and unobtrusive way and this is exactly what she will do on your big day!

Whether your'e getting married in a stately home, a tipi, a church or hotel, Ruth offers a quality and affordable service with a relaxed, friendly and professional approach to capture all those special moments.

Although based in Bristol, Ruth has shot weddings as far away as Poland and Thailand so will travel to pretty much any location! She will work closely with you to capture and produce your choice of formal and informal photographs. It's so important that you feel at ease with the kind of photographs taken and how many!

Ruth will go through the different wedding packages that she offers, each one being tailored to suit you and your personalities.

THE WEDDING REPORTER - CREATING A LITERARY LEGACY OF YOUR DAY!

I have been slightly obsessed with The Wedding Reporter for several years. Brought up on romantic black and white films, I've always felt that those perfect moments in your life should somehow be recorded, so I love photography and video but The Wedding Reporter captures every important part of your day in the most magical medium of words!

Imagine the book of YOU and your big day! I'll let Franky, The Wedding Reporter herself, explain: "The Wedding Reporter is a truly bespoke service turning beautiful weddings into literary gold dust to savour as a unique keepsake.  The report can be as flexible as you like, covering just certain elements of your wedding or a blow-by-blow description of the whole day!"

Initially observing from the sidelines, as the day progresses The Wedding Reporter gets to know your guests and family and will build up a picture of who you are as well as capturing moments from your day that you may only glimpse - creating a lasting memory for you to keep forever.

Just reading their testimonials makes me teary and I think, if you love words and are a romantic, this unique business is something you really can't miss.  I'm already talking to my husband about our 20th wedding anniversary and how important it is to have these memories in writing and just imagining our 50th anniversary and reading all about it all over again!

Come and meet Franky and find out just how wonderful memories of your day will be!

ROSE POPAY - ON THE DAY FUN AND A UNIQUE GIFT

We're so looking forward to having Rose Popay, the Wedding Painter, back with us at next year's fair.  She's a total one-off and an amazing addition to any wedding.

If you're looking for something fun for your guests on the big day as well as a gift that they can contribute to, then Rose fits the bill.

On the day, Rose will rock up with her easel and paints and start work on her canvas, with the bride and groom as the central characters, introducing main features and encouraging your guests to join in, drawing each other or anything memorable from the day!

It's such a fantastic talking point and something your guests can contribute to resulting in a lasting memory which will always remind you of your wedding day.

Rose can also add her own flair to hand drawn wedding maps which your guests will want to keep forever!

At the end of the day you will have a completed canvas showing all the magic and you can even use the image as a thank you card to guests!

With testimonials from the likes of Dawn Porter & Chris O'Dowd, Jill Mansell and Damien Hirst (whom she used to work alongside), you'll be in great company owning your very own Rose Popay.

And don't forget Rose takes other commissions too.  Last year she created a 'Popayspective' of one of my friends' homes as a gift for her husband ... and I'm thinking that might be on the cards as an anniversary present for my hubby!

When Rose was last at the fair, she painted a fabulous picture of the event, which she presented to me as a gift at the end of the day.  It now has pride of place in my home and, having sold Bristol Vintage, will always be a wonderful reminder of the fair.

Come and take a look at Rose in action on the 29th and I guarantee you'll want to commission her on the spot!

IVORY FLOWERS - FLOWERS WITH PASSION

Just hearing the name Xanthe Ivory makes me think of a romantic heroine and, as the owner of Ivory Flowers, Xanthe is in the perfect job to know all about romance.

It's lovely reading the Ivory Flowers' website as her passion for her work shines through and the lovely words of clients confirm how much she and her team love working on weddings.

Growing up in the beautiful Somerset countryside, Xanthe's imagination was captured by the natural blooms, stunning woodlands and endless fields and she developed a pastime of flower pressing (to award-winning standards!)

After training as a florist, Xanthe settled in Bristol and became a mainstay of the Tobacco Factory, where I met her when my husband treated me to some of her wonderful flowers.  Since then she's joined forces with chocolatier Zara and the pair now own a glorious shop in Southville providing beautiful flowers & divine chocolates to the lucky people of South Bristol.

Come and chat with Xanthe at our Fair and you'll be charmed by her laid-back style as well as her knowledge and love of flowers and foliage.
