BAKE MY CAKE - BEAUTIFUL BESPOKE WEDDING CAKES!

We are excited to have Emma of Bake My Cake back with us at the vintage fair as her designs and skills have to be seen (and tasted) to be appreciated!

Emma admits that she was baking obsessed from an early age, baking all kinds of goodies, mostly sweet, from puddings to pastries. With a degree in Catering and Hospitality Management and further work as a commis chef through to a kitchen manager, Emma knew that food was where her heart was!

Emma became self taught in creating sugar flowers and these have become a bit of a trade mark on her cakes. They are incredible and so delicate that it's hard to believe they are not real sometimes!

Emma can create beautiful dessert tables with cake pops, iced biscuits and cupcakes that will wow your guests and be a photographers dream to capture! She holds consultations at her kitchen studio where you can taste different flavours as well as gluten free options.

Emma will sketch out the design for your wedding cake, working with your ideas, designs and budget. Your cake can be contemporary or traditional, grand or elegant, one flavour or different flavours on every tier. We are big fans!

BAKE MY CAKE - BESPOKE AND BEAUTIFUL WEDDING CAKES

Emma Buston has been obsessed with baking since she was a child and her love of making all kinds of puddings, pastries and baked goodies led to a degree in Catering and Hospitality Management.  Working her way through the catering world from Commis Chef to Kitchen Manager, Emma always followed her passion for food.

After having her children, through her love of cake making, Emma taught herself to create beautiful sugar flowers and combining these with her favourite cake recipes led to her business, Bake My Cake, where she creates the most beautiful centrepiece wedding cakes as well as stunning birthday and occasion cakes.

Emma has an incredible range of flavours and, as she says "Wedding cakes are very personal and need to be just right" and she loves meeting potential clients for a one on one tasting, brainstorming, cake design and quote session at her cake studio in Ham Green.

Take a look at what her very happy customers say and you'll be very tempted!

MAISON DU MACARON - PERFECT WEDDING FAVOURS!

I'm always researching new and different exhibitors for the fair so I was very excited when Louise from Maison du Macaron contacted me.

In case you haven't come across them before, Macarons are a French sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond power and filled with ganache or butter cream and, in my humble opinion, are nigh on the perfect sweet treat!

Maison du Macaron are a small local family run business who specialise in these divine treats for weddings, parties and events.

Offering individual macarons, macaron towers and wedding favours, these little bits of perfection are available in a selection of flavours including raspberry, lemon, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, pistachio, orange and even salted caramel!

The origin of the Macaron isn't clear but according to some sources Catherine de Medici may have brought the recipe from France to Italy as early as 1533 but it was in the early 1900's that they became famous after being introduced in their current form by the famous Parisienne bakery and cafe, Laduree.

We are fortunate enough to have our very own Bristol company, Maison du Macaron creating these gorgeous melt-in-the-mouth treats and you will be able to see a selection and learn more about them at the Fair!
