Welcome to the British Independent label of LK Bespoke Bridal.  Lisa Keating works closely with her clients in order to create and successfully achieve the perfect fit, unique look, bridal-wear and evening wear that suits the personality and style of each individual woman.

Lisa loves and designs bridal-wear for real women.  Her approach is personal and it's an obvious passion.  Every creation understands the client's body, their individual beauty, personal vision and their lifestyle.

With 35 years' experience in understanding the bride's desire to be her best self and to express that in their own way, Lisa makes the wedding dress work for them, NOT the bride work out for the dress!

This is where the dress is designed and made for each individual bride.  It's a completely different experience from entering a bridal shop and selecting a gown that's mass-produced and 'off the peg'.  It's a personal experience, where the gown starts with a conversation, enters into the design process and Lisa works through every stage with you, the bride to create a gown that will make you feel confident, beautiful, spoiled and 'loved'!

Combining her commercial design background, in-depth pattern-making and garment construction knowledge, Lisa works with your vision, vintage inspiration and love and passion for beautiful fabrics to create truly stunning, modern wedding dresses and bridal wear. She brings creativity, intelligence and versatility to her collections, knowing that carefully crafted and interchangeable elements will work for every woman, whatever shape or size.

Graduating with a BA Honors in Fashion Design in 1989 at the University of Bristol, Lisa went on to gain a post-graduate certificate in Fashion Illustration, then specialising in Corsetry, feeding her obsession with fit, the female form and embellishment.  This knowledge and experience, combined with Lisa's skills as an Atelier, give her an unparalleled ability to design and create breath-taking wedding gowns.

Lisa is proud to divide her time between creating beautiful gowns and passing on her skills and knowledge in teaching Fashion Degree students in South-West universities as well as running workshops and masterclasses.

Lisa will have a beautiful array of her garments for you to fall in love with at the fair and all her items are created in Bristol, England.

JOANNA SWAN - BLOOMIN' GORGEOUS EARRINGS & MUCH MORE!

It's so lovely to have Joanna Swan at this year's fair with her beautiful hand made jewellery.

Joanna is a singer-songwriter who also happens to be one of the most creative people I know - hence one of her other roles as a fabulous jewellery maker and the creator of Blooming Gorgeous Earrings and Joanna Swan Jewellery.  

Each pair of earrings is handmade, unique and affordable.  Joanna's a colourholic and can put any conceivable shade together - from bright, kitsch, antiqued, to soft and subtle.  It's imperative to her that every piece is eye-catching and also extremely light and comfortable to wear (I can vouch for this myself!).  Her earrings make fabulous bridesmaids' presents and can be colour matched to their dresses or favourite colour.

Joanna's stunning one-off necklaces are more expensive as so much work goes into them and they're fabulous, individual creations!

One of the great things about the Bristol Vintage Wedding Fair is that it's given us a chance to meet incredibly talented people like Lisa Keating, the designer behind LK Bespoke Bridal, who genuinely creates each gown, corseted bodice and skirt by hand.

Visiting Lisa at her workshop on the borders of South Bristol and North Somerset is a real treat as you are surrounded by amazing swatches of silks, lace & tulles in an abundance of colours.  Here she will work with you to capture your vision, advise on what will suit you and what fabrics will work best for the style to create your perfect outfit.

One of the most passionate designers I know, Lisa takes pride in developing each gown from the early research stages through to fabric sourcing, pattern-cutting and then creating your individual dress by hand to couture standards.  You will love working with her and be thrilled with the finished result.

Lisa's design service offers everything from hand made gowns, corsets and co-ordinating skirt, Mother of the Bride outfits, shrugs, wraps & boleros, flattering neck corsets and lace jewellery and even wedding shoe customisation and embellishment, as well as alterations.

Excitingly, Lisa is about to launch her collection of lingerie garments, Lisa Keating Undercover, and also offers a Victorian corset workshop - where you will design, cut and make a fully fitted, boned, lined and back-laced corset in the material of your choice! I've always been a massive fan of hats and I don't know many women who aren't.  However, most of us don't get the opportunity to wear them in our day to day lives.   But a wedding is the PERFECT opportunity and if you're looking for that special finishing touch to complete your outfit then you need to meet Lisa Von Hallwyl.

Lisa creates bespoke designs and can literally make any shape or style.  All her pieces are style statements and she has an incredible number of different designs.  But, not only that, you can even design the hat yourself and match the colour to exactly fit your outfit!

Taking the stress out of choosing the perfect accompaniment to your outfit is Lisa's aim.  She works closely with her clients, starting with an initial consultation to discuss your vision - identifying the perfect design, style & colour through sketches and trying on different hats.  Lisa even takes into consideration your face shape, height and size and, as every piece of the finished item is hand made your hat will be totally individual to you.

The final fitting and measurement service ensures the end result is a unique bespoke piece of artwork, designed to complement your perfectly.

Each pair of shoes is unique to you, beautifully hand-painted with love and care and will remain a cherished memento of your wedding day to last you a lifetime. 

Sonia will fashion the shoes to match your vision.  Using Artists' brushes, high-quality paints and a very steady hand she crafts delicate detailing and fluid lines in pastel or vibrant colours for your very own pair of 'lust-have' shoes.  Every last detail is considered, matching pearls, ribbons & Swarovski crystals to the bride's dress, tiara and flowers.
