IVORY FLOWERS

I'm so lucky this year as the wonderful Xanthe from  Ivory Flowers is kindly supplying the flowers for my Bristol Vintage table.  

I've been fortunate enough to have been bought some of Xanthe's beautiful bouquets by my husband and I've always loved her flowers so I was really excited to work with her on a friend's wedding last year.  The flowers were just perfect and while we chatted she told me Ivory Flowers love doing natural, textured and scented bouquets, incorporating family traditions, which appeal to all the senses.  Her favourite part of the job is working with couples and in your free wedding consultation will help inspire you with unique and seasonal ideas. 

Heavily inspired by the changing seasons, where possible Ivory flowers use locally grown flowers to make beautiful, loose and natural arrangements created specially for you.  Often, softly scented and complimented by gorgeous foliage and herbs, they bring the English country garden to the table!

Creating bouquets ranging from full and wild, vintage style, loose hand picked to tight perfect designs and everything in between, Ivory Flowers also create individual buttonholes, corsages and headdresses to suit each bride's wishes.

A qualified florist of 10 years, Xanthe now runs Ivory Flowers from a gorgeous shop in Southville with a wonderful team of floral fanatics!  Come and see her beautiful work on Sunday to be impressed!

DAYS OF GRACE - BEAUTIFUL HEIRLOOM VINTAGE GOWNS & ACCESSORIES

We're thrilled to have Linda and Stephen Duriez from Days of Grace joining us again this year.  Specialising in genuine vintage bridal gowns from the turn of the century to the 1970's, plus their own vintage inspired designs, their stand is a treasure trove for vintage loving brides or anyone who wants to own a beautiful genuine vintage gown or headdress.

With a reputation as one of the foremost vintage bridal suppliers, this last year has seen an increase in both the stock and the national recognition of Days of Grace, with mentions in last spring's Vogue Magazine, as well as countless big name blogs.

DAYS OF GRACE VINTAGE - UNIQUE HEIRLOOM GOWNS

We're thrilled to have Days of Grace Vintage joining us again this year with their signature lace gowns - both original and reworked, harking back to early Downton Abbey through to the elegant 1930's. 

Linda, the designer and owner of Days of Grace will be showcasing their growing collection of 1920's beaded gowns (think Great Gatsby), which suit any age group, together with whimsical boho vintage gowns - even a couple from the 1970's, though their main era spans 1900 to the 1950's.

The lovely thing is, each one is entirely unique and an heirloom to treasure.  There will be soft champagne hued veils, exquisite jewelled headdresses and unusual beautiful accessories.

Choose from their own label creations in antique lace, original vintage gowns and designer samples, including Jenny Packham, Sarah Houston and other vintage-inspired collections.

OUR FIRST EXHIBITOR … VINTAGE BUTTON BRIDAL DESIGNS

If you're looking for unique vintage inspired headdresses, everlasting bouquets, jewellery and accessories then you are going to love our first exhibitor, Vintage Button Bridal Designs.  

Clare Lloyd has been silver-smithing for over 8 years so when her sister got married and asked Clare to make her vintage-themed jewellery and bouquet Clare was hooked!  By popular demand, she started making wedding items for her friends which led to her own business making bespoke, unique pieces.

Each item is hand made by Clare using original vintage jewellery, precious metals and stones, pearls, buttons, lace and Swarovski crystals in order to create a unique piece you can treasure as a permanent reminder of your wedding day.

Clare has always made jewellery and has incorporated her passion of all things vintage, the fashion, furniture and architecture, into her designs.

Clare can work with you to design and make vintage style jewellery, hair accessories, button holes, corsages or bouquets.  She is inspired by the elegance of the 30's, 40's and 50's and loves creating new designs from once-loved pieces of  jewellery.

As she is registered with the Birmingham Assay Office, all Clare's silver jewellery is hallmarked and stamped with her makers mark (a heart surrounding her initials) and she also makes a range of simple hammered wedding bands in various metals.

Lace, silks, brooches, beads, pearls and buttons can be used to create an alternative everlasting bouquet, with the option to have matching corsages and button holes!  And a wide range of Clare's work can be seen on her gallery page.

Bristol Vintage are delighted to announce the first confirmed exhibitor for our 2014 Fair is... Your Unique Scrapbook.

Since last year's Fair, designer Sharon Barbour's business has gone from strength to strength. With a love of vintage materials and scrapbooking, Sharon will take your keepsakes and treasures and make them into a uniquely designed, personalised guestbook.

Recycling vintage books and papers, lace and costume jewellery and adding a contemporary touch of embellishments to make it uniquely yours, Sharon works with you to get your book just right.

Your Unique Scrapbook have now extended their range so you'll find vintage suitcase cardholders, wedding favours and programmes as well as place mats, message cards, journals and notebooks.

As well as the traditional vintage-style wedding favourites, Sharon's added a number of new themes... how about steampunk, Paris or Christmas?
