SAUNDERS CREATIVE - DECALS, TABLE PLANS & SIGNS DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR YOU!

I recently popped along to The Little Wedding Space where I was incredibly excited to see the work of Saunders Creative.  Becky & Victoria Saunders are two talented ladies who offer a bespoke service specifically designed for your wedding day.  They can design table numbers and plans, the order of service, signs, decorations and more. Excitingly, their decals can be 100% bespoke and their designs include hand drawn illustrations.

Using a mixture of illustration, hand-lettering and computers they generate the designs which they then hand finish and prepare into decals.

The design is then scanned into a computer where the artwork is generated ready to plot the designs using a vinyl cutter.  The pair can work in a vinyl with matt, metallic or a frosted finish to give an artisan feel.

Then it's simply a case of revealing the adhesive side of the vinyl, placing it on your chosen surface, smoothing over the front and finally removing the protective paper.   After which ... step back and admire your own personal artwork. Although the process sounds technical, the final stage couldn't be simpler and the result is something totally personal to you, and really easy to use.

I've already ordered a decal for my home!  At the fair, they will be showcasing a selection of set designs which are already adhered to a collection of beautiful vintage windows which can be hired out.  If you want something truly unique and extra special come and talk to these ladies at our fair and I think you'll be hooked!

Vintage Baker Finds - Blighty Bazaar

Every so often I find a vintage supplier who's so good I have to share. So while they might not always be 'Bristol' based, they certainly get the Bristol Vintage & Vintage Baker Finds seal of approval.

This week is all about Blighty Bazaar.

Blighty Bazaar is unique vintage emporium in the heart of Leamington Spa.

A veritable feast of vintage, handmade and retro, Blighty Bazaar hosts over 100 sellers over two floors, including a vintage hair & beauty salon and tearoom.

If you're after quirky and original designs, vintage furniture or a 50s shampoo and set, this is the place for you.

Sip tea from vintage china, browse the vinyl, try on a quirky shirt or a handmade dress…

…then let stylists Catherine and Jane of Chez Titine set you up with a beehive or some Victory rolls. They also offer vintage make up and styling advice for men and women and mini retro makeovers for kids.

Blighty Bazaar is a one-stop shop for all your vintage requirements so make sure you pop in next time you're in Leamington Spa. If you can't wait, check out their website, find them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.

When Sarah Baker isn't writing children's books she writes features for Vintage Life Magazine and Pretty Nostalgic. You can find her on Twitter @bysarahbaker or via her website www.bysarabaker.com
