TOOT SWEETS - IRRESISTIBLE ICE CREAMS & SORBETS IN A FABULOUS VINTAGE VAN OR TRIKE!

If you're looking for something a little different to serve treats and drinks to your guests  then have a look at Toot Sweet's fully adaptable vintage Citroen H van which can be set up according to your requirements. The van is called Belle and painted a neutral cream to complement any theme, with rich slate grey walls and oak worktops she's full of character, class and fun!  Belle doesn't have an engine so she can be set up anywhere - inside or outside. 

The van is available as a barista coffee van, or as an ice cream/sorbet/boozy sorbet parlour, a cocktail bar or mobile bar and you mix and match our services to suit your event! Having no engine (she's towed on site) Belle is safe to be parked within the grounds of your wedding venue, parked outside your marquee or tipi. If it can be get into your venue then it looks fantastic and a great treat for guests! 

Toot Sweets provide locally hand-made, multi-award winning ice creams and boozy sorbets.  With nearly 100 flavours to choose from there's something for everyone, from Baileys, Honeycombe, Melon & Pimms, Pinksters Gin & Tonic, Eton Mess,  & Belgian Chocolate, and they can even provide diabetic and vegan ice cream, all served in luxury waffle cones or environmentally friendly pots with a spoon.  Guests have unlimited ice creams for a 2 hour service and can help themselves to toppings such as sauces, chocolate flakes, fudge pieces, sprinkles and the like!  

Toots Sweets also have an ice-cream tricycle called Beau so perfect if space or access is an issue. They'll be bringing Beau to the fair so you can meet him!

Decorations, parasol and chalk board as well as a vintage butler's tray is included - the trike is eco-friendly and can set up anywhere without the need to be connected to the electric supply!  Rustic in style and beautifully hand-crafted design which makes the trike stand out from anything else out there.

THE SQUARE CLUB: THE PERFECT WEDDING VENUE IN BRISTOL

THE DAFFODIL - FOR FILM STAR WEDDING DAY GLAMOUR!

Let me introduce you to the star of our Wedding Fair - The Daffodil!

I had been looking for a venue in Cheltenham for a while.  There are some  beautiful buildings but I wanted something that made my heart thump and my senses go WOW!  A friend had mentioned The Daffodil to me so I googled it and got quite excited.  But I've been disappointed before, so I made an appointment to meet up with their Events Manager and take a look.

The minute I saw the frontage I knew I was going to love it ... and walking into the building just knocked my socks off!  I am a MASSIVE film fan ... but my true love is vintage films - black and white, period films - glamorous, gorgeous and my style inspiration.  Well The Daffodil reflects all of that.  I was so thrilled when they said they'd like to host my vintage wedding fair.

Cheltenham's first purpose built picture palace, opening its doors to the public on the 5th October 1922, its Art Deco style was an instant success.  It was the height of glamour, with an upper circle lounge area for relaxing pre-feature, perfume vending spritzers in the ladies powder room and the country's first 'kissing seats' designed for courting couples.

The advent of television caused it's closure and, after several different incarnations restaurateur Mark Stephens fell in love with its potential in late 1996.    The Daffodil was lovingly restored with many original features reinstated and is now one of Britain's most unique and dramatic dining rooms.  

A dazzling open kitchen has replaced the silver screen, displaying a different kind of theatre, overseen by renowned Head Chef, Tom Rains, serving daily and seasonal specials combined with well established favourites.  The restaurant has established a great reputation for producing delicious and unpretentious classic dishes using the finest seasonal ingredients.

Not only that ... The Daffodil is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, with a bespoke planning service to provide everything you need for a fairytale day.  Up to 140 guests can dine on the day or you can have a more cozy, intimate affair.  Whatever you want, the Daffodil can truly make you feel like a film star for a day!

On the 21st, the fully licensed cocktail bar, set in the mezzanine circle balcony and overlooking the hustle and bustle below, will be serving their Matinee Menu so, when you're overwhelmed by all the gorgeous exhibits, why not sit back, enjoy the view and pretend you're back in the '20's!

Cool Classy Campers

Fancy a different way to get to your wedding? Fancy a vintage-style honeymoon in a 1960s VW campervan?  Then look no further than Cool Classy Campers.

Owners Philip and Sarah Heaton have three of these gorgeous VW Camper Vans they hire out for weddings and honeymoons all year round. Each one of these gorgeous bespoke vehicles has bags of spirit and personality, and has been beautifully restored with a perfect vintage-style finished interior. 

For your wedding you can hire one in red, blue or white, the latter affectionately known as Gus the Bus, their 1966 VW camper.  Gus is very popular as a wedding vehicle, providing something a little bit different.  He can carry up to five passengers and has a fridge on board for refreshments along the way. Whichever VW you choose, you’ll be chauffeur-driven and can be as creative as you like with flowers and vintage ribbons. 

 

Since last year Cool Classy Campers have completed refurbishment on Harvey – a Cocktail Bar in a 1960s VW campervan. Harvey’s equipped with a fridge, icemaker, sound system and lighting. To accompany him, Cool Classy Campers provide experienced cocktail bar staff serving a wide range of drinks as well as two different sized Capri marquees with tables and chairs - a completely self-contained bar package for your wedding!

You can opt to hire the vans as your honeymoon car too.  Each VW is fully equipped with a double bed, stove, sink and water as well as a fridge for your champagne - they really are something special.
