The main ingredient is a deliciously dark chocolate and each cake is soaked overnight in Port before being layered with Madagascan vanilla buttercream and homemade plum jam. After that, using white, dark or milk chocolate, master chocolatier Lizzie gets to work designing.

Lizzie began baking at the age of 10 and started working with one of Britain's leading chocolate cake makers over 15 years ago, training in couverture and learning the art of the Chocolatier. She set up Chocolate Delores Cakes in 2010 and her business is now well-known throughout the South-West and further afield.
