We're so pleased that Jo Hansford Photography are able to join us again for this year's fair. Jo & her husband Nic have such a lovely, relaxed style and their stunning pictures speak for themselves. Not only do they take amazing wedding photographs, but they are also have a way with animals as you'll see from the links below. In fact Jo took the most wonderful photos of my dogs, which I really cherish. Over to Jo to tell you a bit about them and their work (and thanks to Jo for her lovely words about the Fair!)
"We were over the moon when Ali and the Bristol Vintage team asked us to exhibit at the upcoming show this March. For us, this show has always encompassed everything a wedding fair should be, from its collection of inspirational, quality suppliers, to its beautiful location on the edge of Clifton village, and its fantastic atmosphere and organisation, all brought together in the capable hands of Ali Cook and co.
Our style encompasses natural, informal photography, with an element of more classical imagery and direction from us, to ensure we capture the best from any location and couple. Nic & I have been working together since 2004, capturing over 350 weddings from all over the UK as well as Italy and Spain. We combine our two styles to offer our couples an amazing blend of images as a memory of their wedding day. My first love has always been natural light, creating soft and beautiful images, Nic adds in a more technical element with a passion for lighting and dramatic shots. As a duo, we are always keen to get to know our couples, their style and taste, as much as possible, to make each wedding capture as unique and personal as possible.
In the last few years, we have been busy introducing a new element into our work, capturing our "four legged friends", horses and dogs. In our relatively short time working in this field, we have been commissioned by the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art in Jerez de la Frontera (www.realescuela.org), have captured the British eventing legends Mary and Emily King jumping furniture on their horses (!), and travelled to the Isle of Skye to photograph the "Homecoming" event with HRH Princess Anne, celebrating and promoting the rare breed the Skye Terrier.
If you have any other "family" - horses, dogs, cats, sheep, rabbits....pigs....you would like included in your wedding photoshoot, we both love doing something new and different!
