The Little Wedding Helper

Bristol Vintage are delighted to confirm our latest exhibitor… The Little Wedding Helper.

Kirsten (aka The Little Wedding Helper) is a brilliant stylist.

She's that extra pair of hands to help you style your wedding so it's uniquely yours.

There's no need to worry about your marquee, the village hall or hotel. With Kirsten's on-the-day service you can enjoy the build up of your wedding day whilst she decorates inside and out, making your venue beautiful and personal, with incredible attention to detail.

Kirsten knows that sourcing vintage decor can often be one of the most exciting parts of preparing for your big day, and what she specialises in is bringing together all of those gorgeous props and pieces of furniture and really making the most of them.

Kirsten also has her own extensive range of vintage furniture and decor that can be hired - so never fear, The Little Wedding Helper can help you no matter how far along you are in the styling process.

Have you begun to source vintage props for your special day?  Have you thought about a wedding stylist? Even in the early stages of planning, The Little Wedding Helper is here to give you a helping hand. A match made in heaven, don’t you think?

Come and meet Kirsten at our next fair in 2014. Meantime you can find out more on her website, on Facebook and Twitter. Happy styling!

Bristol Vintage Crockery & Prop Hire

For those of you who don't know what Bristol Vintage actually do (apart from organise the Fair), it's about time we introduced ourselves! Over the last 4 years we've been supplying our beautiful vintage mismatched china for weddings and events throughout the country, and we're happy to say we've been loving every minute!

Over the last year SO much has happened and it's really exciting to share our news here before the Fair!

We never stop adding to our collection (it's a bit of an obsession!) and we pride ourselves on having a fabulously eclectic mix. We can now supply afternoon tea crockery for over 300 people and full vintage dinner crockery and cutlery for up to 150. We're also able to dress and style your venue and we regularly work closely with Kirsten, The Little Wedding Helper to give you a really fabulous event styling service.

Our props collection is always growing and we're now able to offer bunting, gramophones, picnic hampers & rugs, typewriters, candlesticks, a 1940's tea trolley, embroidered linens and even our gorgeous bike, Mabel (who now has a beau, Sam!).

Over the past few years we've worked with some really fabulous people and can recommend beautiful dresses, stunning accessories, quirky venues and almost everything you can imagine for your wedding.

Last year we created Jezebel Events with Sue from Auntie's Vintage to set up bespoke events and we're currently organising the launch party for the re-opening of Clifton Hill Costume & Textiles.

We've also joined forces with Emily from Fishee Designs Photo Booth to organise Bristol's first truly alternative wedding event, The Weird and Wonderful Wedding World Show.  We recently completed the most amazing pre-show shoot with Laura Power of Laura Michelle Photography - here's a sneak peek!

And finally ... if you're looking for something totally different, Katie has started up Bristol Vintage's sister company, The Dandy Cabin - a stunning Teardrop trailer, from which she can serve teas, coffee and even bubbly from our very own Babycham glasses.  You can see Katie and the Dandy Cabin at the Wedding Fair on Sunday!

For more information on what we can offer, take a look at our website: www.bristolvintage.co.uk  or follow us on Facebook  & Twitter, but do make sure you say hello on Sunday at our next Bristol Vintage Wedding Fair!

The Little Wedding Helper

How would you like to win the chance to have your own wedding stylist for the day?

Kirsten Butler, aka The Little Wedding Helper, is offering all visitors to next year’s Bristol Vintage Wedding Fair the chance to win her styling services.  All you have to do is visit her stand at the Fair on March 10th and be sure to leave your details.  After the Fair, our very own Ali Cook will draw the lucky winner – the prize being their very own Little Wedding Helper to help style their big day (up to 100 guests).

If you haven’t thought about wedding styling, it’s well worth having a chat with Kirsten. She’s an Award Winning stylist (voted regional winner in the ‘Special Touches’ category for the South West Wedding Industry Awards 2012) who helps couples across Bristol and the South West to stop worrying about ‘how it should be done’, instead creating and styling a wedding that’s uniquely theirs, from start to finish.

Whether your taste is retro, vintage or modern, Kirsten is your go to woman if you don’t want to have to worry about a single aspect of how your venue or marquee is going to look and feel. If you’re struggling with ideas, overwhelmed with the choice out there or have the vision but need someone to bring it to life then The Little Wedding Helper can help. She's not a wedding planner, but that extra pair of hands to focus on all styling elements of your big day.  She works alongside hotel staff and wedding coordinators and will ensure the venue is transformed while you’re getting ready.  Specialising in marquee decoration, her on-the-day styling service means you can enjoy the build up of your wedding day whilst the inside and outside of the marquee are being decorated with love and exquisite attention to detail.

From styling, to hiring and plenty of inspiration along the way, The Little Wedding Helper is a vintage girl at heart. You can find her on Twitter and Facebook, email her at hello@littleweddinghelper.co.uk or call her direct on 07726 911951 to start getting creative. Her website is a treasure trove of gorgeous photos (c/o Sam Gibson photography), just like the ones featured here from a recent wedding at Goldbrick House using our very own Bristol Vintage China.
