PAT MCINTYRE - STUNNING LIVE ACOUSTIC GUITAR AND VOCALS, TAILORED TO YOUR WEDDING DAY

As well as DJ and bands upstairs we're lucky enough to have Pat McIntyre playing and singing downstairs too.  I'll hand over to Pat to tell you about himself:

"Hi, I’m Pat – an experienced singer and acoustic guitarist from Bristol in the South West of England. I’ve been performing and entertaining crowds for over a decade now, and I began specialising in wedding entertainment in 2011. I wanted to provide a different service from what was already out there – traditional classical guitarists are great for background music, but I wanted to offer more of a focal point to entertain guests and provide something unique and memorable.

Why book live music on your wedding day? Well, live acoustic guitar and vocals at the wedding ceremony really adds a personal touch, and a performance of your favourite song as you walk down the aisle will live long in the memory. Maybe you're looking for something to fill the gap between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast. This can  sometimes be something of a lull at a wedding, so having some live acoustic music is a great idea while guests are mingling and the wedding couple are having photographs taken.

I also love playing at the evening party! Sometimes I'll get people up on the dance floor dancing and singing along before a DJ or band takes over, but often I'll be booked as the main event. My upbeat acoustic sets always go down a storm - using a loop pedal (a la Ed Sheeran!) to create a unique, full sound, I'll put together a set of anthems from the 60's right through to the present day. If you really want live music at your evening party, but your budget doesn't allow a full band, then booking me can be a fantastic alternative - and just as entertaining!

What makes me different from other guitarists? I provide a completely personal and bespoke service - you won't find me on any agency's books, as I work independently. My ethos is simple - its your big day, so you're in charge! You can pick the entire song list for the day and make requests, or if you'd rather leave me to put together the set list that's fine too. I'll meet up with you as many times as you need prior to the big day, to finalise details and get to know you. I'll even send you mp3 recordings of your bridal entrance song or first dance song, so that you know how it will sound on the day.

I'm based in Bristol, but regularly travel to the surrounding areas including Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, the Cotswolds and South Wales. I'll consider playing anywhere - just drop me a line and I can give you a quote if your venue is a bit further afield.

Mr. Sawtime

Bristol Vintage is thrilled to tell you about Mr. Sawtime.

Think of a violin string. Now imagine it still thin, but broad like a bendy metal sheet. Now imagine drawing a violin bow across the edge….it vibrates like a violin string - but it's a musical saw!

Mr. Sawtime has been playing his Sandvik Stradivarius saw since he was a teenager. He's performed at parties, schools, fetes and festivals, on TV, in concerts and on records. His repertoire includes classical, country, jazz standards and ballads played to discreet backing tracks.

Bristol Vintage are thrilled that Shellac Sound will be joining us on March 16th.

Shellac Sound are gramophone DJs.
