BREATHTAKING IMAGES OF YOUR PERFECT DAY FROM AN AWARD WINNING PHOTOGRAPHER TAKEN WITH PASSION

When your photographer has written a book on Wedding Photography and leads a foundation degree course on the subject, you know you're going to get fabulous pictures!  Morag Macdonald of Documentary Image has won too many photography awards to list here but, more importantly, she lives and breathes photography and, aside from her family and friends, it is her great passion in life!

When she sent me through photos for the blog I found it so hard to choose as they were all perfect, but what I noticed more than anything was how Morag had captured the feel of two beautiful but totally different days and what shines through is how she's able to take great candid pictures but, at the same time, captures the most intimate moments, showing the real emotion of the day.  Have a look at Morag's blog for more examples of her stunning work.

The first set of photos are from Amber & Gavin's wedding.  Morag says "Amber and Gavin were married in Corsham, Wiltshire last year.  A fabulous wedding in every way!"

The second set of photos Morag sent me are from Bob & Kath's superb wedding.  Morag says "They did everything their own way.  A fabulous wedding in Clifton on the site of the bombed out church at the birdcage walk, then a close friend drove them to Park Street for a super reception at the Folk House.  A Bristol ballon sailed past at just the right moment – a truly fabulous day!"

PHOTOGRAPHY FROM THE FAIR

I always say that it's the exhibitors that make the fair and this year it was more beautiful than ever.  It felt a bit like walking into a fairytale and I was spoilt being surrounded by so much gorgeousness!

We were lucky enough to have the brilliant Pete Cranston acting as our 'official photographer'.   Pete spent most of the day, camera in hand, capturing the essence of the fair on film and, I think you'll agree, the results are pretty amazing!

I'm really thrilled to have some photos of my own Bristol Vintage table to add to the portfolio.
The flowers are by the super-talented Kirstie of Ruby and the Wolf.

I can't tell you how much I love  Lisa Keating's beautiful corsetry and dresses.

Rose Popay hard at work on one of her fabulous creations!

Always innovative and exciting, Claire of  The Wilde Bunch excelled herself
with a visual feast of flowers and greenery
