Chocolate Delores

One of the best things about working with Katie and Ali (owners of the wonderful Bristol Vintage and your hosts for the Fair) has been some of the lovely people they've introduced me to and Lizzie from Chocolate Delores melted my heart! She's absolutely lovely and, being in the cream of the wedding cake industry for the last 10 years, means that her cakes will melt yours. Chocolate Delores wedding cakes are utterly delicious and jaw-droppingly beautiful to boot.

I've just been looking at the cakes on her website (again) and am positively salivating (again). Using only the finest ingredients, Lizzie makes wedding cakes, birthday cakes, individual cakes and chocolate shoes. She also makes florentines, dark chocolate gingers, dark chocolate orangettes and cocoa dusted truffles. All of which are to die for and would make perfect wedding favours.

More deliciousness and information on the Chocolate Delores website - http://www.chocolatedelores.co.uk/. If you're interested in ordering one of her cakes, Lizzie will send you a slice to try. Oh joy!

Charlotte Casadéjus

It's not very often that you'll hear me 'squeal'. I'm just not a 'squealer'. However, having heard that the lovely, infinitely talented, créme de la créme of wedding dress design, Charlotte Casadéjus would be exhibiting at the Fair...I admit it. I squealed. Loudly. And I haven't stopped smiling since.

Ladies, we are so lucky to have Charlotte coming to the South West with her latest collection. All of Charlotte's dresses are inspired by vintage designs and, using the finest fabrics and couture techniques, are hand-finished with vintage details. These dresses are pure perfection.

Below is a selection of dresses from the collection. I hope you all like them. They take my breath away. Check out the website for the full collection and for more about Charlotte - http://www.charlottecasadejus.com/

L'Esprit du Jazz

We're really looking forward to welcoming the wonderful jazz quartet, L'Esprit du Jazz, to the Fair. Their music is timeless, classic and ultra cool. Perfect for creating a welcoming and relaxing ambience for your guests as they arrive and during your meal. We love them.

They're going to have a slot to play during the fair. We'll be announcing times of all our entertainment acts really soon, so do come along and hear them play. They're fantastic. Check out their website for details of what service they can offer and to hear them play - http://www.lesprit-du-jazz.co.uk/

Some more words about the guys' music below (written by someone who properly understands music!!):

L’Esprit du Jazz is thrilled to have the opportunity to infuse the Vintage Wedding Fair with their unique and contemporary style of jazz. This quartet of professional musicians will be playing the coolest of café jazz inspired by the Great American Song Book, with shades of Django Reinhardt, tango and swing.

Should you wish to have a taste of their atmospheric offering visit www.lesprit-du-jazz.co.uk to hear some songs from their repertoire. Contact them directly if you wish discuss how you can add that extra touch of ambience to your special day.

Jumping Spider Films, Wedding Cinematographers

OK, so I've been known to have a bit of a cry at pretty much anything; Springwatch, Cash in the Attic, Dancing on Ice....the list goes on. I can't help it. I'm just one of life's 'cryers'. But I've just spent the last few minutes literally weeping at the Jumping Spider Films website.

Anyone can video a wedding but it takes a real film-maker to really capture the true joy of a wedding. Alexis and Matt have award-winning experience for the best programme makers in the industry including the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

Alexis and Matt will be joining us at the fair. Come down and meet them and check out what they can do.

Take a look at the website. There's a montage on the 'Our Films' section. But I'm warning you folks, get your tissues out! http://www.jumpingspiderfilms.com/

I'm off to put on some more mascara....

Cherished, Vintage Bridal Accessories

I just love what these ladies do. Love it, love it, love it! Abby Gadd and Debbie Hayes of Cherished have created the most beautiful collection of tiaras, headbands, combs and hairpins all crafted from vintage dress jewellery. Everything is unique and, as well as their ready-to-wear collection, they can work with you to source exactly the right piece to go with your dress, colour scheme or taste. They'll also re-work something you already own and love, so that you can wear it on your special day.

They have many, many years experience and a genuine love of vintage jewellery. You can trust they'll create a piece of art for you with fantastic craftsmanship and a lot of love.

I really love the headband below. It's so timeless, you could wear it over and over again. Although the 2nd one is pretty special too. And the 3rd one, oooh, the 3rd one...

Each piece is entirely original – made from genuine vintage costume jewellery inspirationally reworked into one-off, timeless hair accessories for the ultimate of special occasions.
You can see lots more of the collection at their website - http://www.cherishedvintage.co.uk/. We can't wait to see you at the Fair ladies!
